Silver Lining™ - This soft, non-woven, reflective insulation fabric, developed by Advanced Flexible Materials, creates a comfortable insulating lining. Made of aluminized polymer film, Silver Lining’s radiant barrier both bars and allows the penetration of heat to maintain a consistent temperature in an environment. Silver Lining’s ultra-thin coating of 99.99999% pure aluminum is applied in a vacuum chamber. The highly efficient heat-reflective coating is about 1/100th the thickness of a human hair. The micro-thin reflective insulation coating is capable of returning up to 80% of a person’s body heat. Silver Lining’s reflective insulation can be compared to a “heat-mirror”. Just as a mirror returns light, a “heat-mirror” returns heat.

SuperShed™ - This super durable waterproof application, developed by the ASF Group, has a rating of 80 using the Water Repellency Spray Method, even after over 100 repeated washings. This newly developed DWR technology uses a water repellent agent and a collateral process technology that densely aligns water repellent groups and bonding them firmly to the nylon fabric.

Teflon® - DuPont™ Teflon® fabric protector is a fluorochemical finish and is one of the industry leaders in durable stain and soil protection for apparel, home and technical textiles. Teflon® fabric protector delivers durable, long lasting protection by forming a molecular shield around the fibers guarding against oil- water-based stains, dust and dry soil. All of this, without impacting the look, touch, feel, color or breathability of the fabric. The product is professionally applied at the fabric mill or fabric finisher for durable performance and has a wide portfolio of products including repellent technologies, stain release technologies and dual action which combines the benefits of repel and release.

Temptrol™ - Temptrol™, developed by Innovative Insulation Inc., is a patent- pending polypropylene based non-woven perforated fabric metallized on one side. Temptrol™ reflects 95% of the radiant heat... the major source of heat transfer. With the Temptrol technology, the company can cause anything to retain or reflect heat, thereby remaining warmer or cooler. The innovative new material is soft, flexible, washable and perfect for a multitude of products. The radiant heat reflecting metallized fabric has a low puncture resistance for ease of sewing with conventional fabric equipment, while maintaining a high tear resistance. Its soft drapability eliminates the unpleasant crinkly noise of previous metallized products used to insulate clothing. An added feature is the microperforations that maximize the breathability of Temptrol™. Applications are limited only by your imagination.

The SR process allows a variance in the thickness of a chosen weight without a proportional loss in thermal value.

Thinsulate™ Insulation - Made by the 3M Company, Thinsulate™ Insulation is a microfiber blend of polyolefin and polyester, which is very thin, lightweight, warm, moisture resistant, and breathable. Thinsulate insulation absorbs less than 1% of its weight in water, an important feature for maintaining warmth under damp conditions. Because it is so thin, it provides the warmth of a big jacket in a much less bulky garment. It is used in high-performance outerwear, jackets, gloves, hats and footwear. Thinsulate™ Ultra® is a softer version.

Transpor® - Transpor® Dry Fibre is a permanent process moisture management technology for performance apparel and gear.
